As of the 25th of this month there will no longer be a CTF Server. Very very few use it. 1 time in a 7 day period there were 6 people playing, most of the time it is just bots. I am not paying for the Servers any longer so I will move the money left on the CTF to the FFA server when that money is gone and if no one donates then we will no longer have servers!

Well, this is shit news. Are you sure, I normally see more people on the CTF server than the Bery. I hardly even play Bery anymore, and I'm still trying to get the CTF map done. How much is it to pay for the CTF server each month?

I agree that Tony shouldn't have to pay for the servers all the time.

How about all the adult members split the total cost of either one or both the servers to keep them going. If the servers are closed down then to me that spells the end of the clan. No-one wants this to happen so lets all rally together and help Tony pay for the servers.

The members who are still at school etc can't be expected to pay towards them as firstly they have no income and secondly they probably don't possess a credit card.

C'mon everyone, split between a few of us will not break the bank. Lets keep the server or servers going!

Yes this is indeed horrible news. I personally love the ffa a lot more than the ctf, but still like to play on our ctf server a lot. However if it is losing its popularity and the old community of players that were the "regulars" are now growing scarce, then we should terminate the ctf server to save money. By the way flash I do remember you asking me if I could donate, and I can't right now. Please keep in mind that I am 15 and will be starting my part-time job soon, so just sit tight

This will help us understand what value we are dealing with to keep this muli-server clan running.

TS is free comes with the servers. FFA cost 22 per month that is with stats without it will only cost 20.00. CTF is 27 per month with stats and 25.00 if we drop the stats. I just paid last month a hundred dollars 1 server should be good for another month and the other is good for 2 more. I just can't do it anymore paying 100 dollars every 2 months this foot problem put me thousands in the hole. Sorry people I hate to let you down, but I just can't keep it up.

Unless the server bandwidth tracker is wrong it doesn't seem to get much use, but I could be wrong. Help me out people you know I love the CTF server and would hate to shut it down.

I personally love the ctf server in a BIG way. I play as much as possible, but like you said it is becoming harder to find a group on it. Having said that I have beenon ther when it has been packed.

What hurt you was the ep server. They would come to your site and say hey....come to this new site, ip #......, and they all went. They still come back, but the slow down of COBRA's ctf is EP.

I might suggest you go there and ask peeps to come back???? Much like they did to yor server.

I really would hate to see it go because I love the custom maps and the people that play on it.

Glad to hear that the server will be going a bit longer. That server is the only place i play these days apart from the odd visit to the berry server to say hi....

Its a great server and a shame certain peeps come in recruiting for their own servers.
Not so long ago there were big crowds there having a blast on the cobra CTF server. A lot of the regulars are not playing now or have changed their nics. I don't know whats happened to these guys. A lot of players are in and out just lookin for someone to frag with. If there is nobody there they move on. I see it a lot on my server (which I very rarely play at).
I wonder how much QL has effected the Q3 servers. From asking around it doesn't seem like a lot prefer QL over Q3 but who really knows at this stage?

I like Quake live but seems the skills levels aren't right yet and on instagib constantly crashes on map changes. They will probably kick me out of Quake live for saying that LOL. I comeback to play ctf but no one is ever there.
