Well, I finally finished it after all this time. Don't worry, this map is much better than the last one :lol: in fact, lets not ever mention the last one again :D

So here it is, as promised, before 2009 ;)

Some screens: (looks darker in screenshots for some reason, Looks much better in-game even though I play with Quake fairly dark (Bleh xfire being a noob, can only upload one :S)

I'd like to say thank you to the following people:

The Cobra Clan: For de-noobifying me and making Quake a game still worth playing.

M'Lady and Cannon for helping me beta test this thing, and even hosting early versions of it on their server for me :)

-uE'Cheezmo' for helping me improve the map for railjumps and taking the time and effort to help a complete stranger out :D

Thanks to Samael The Deceiver for his awesome Cobra texture 8)


I really hope you all like this map, it's taken alot of my time to get right :lol: Don't blame me if bots suck aswell ;) Nah they're not too bad. If CT hosts this on our CTF server, I'd like to see you all there playing on my map sometime :) If you like it enough, you might even convince me to make another :O

TBH I'm not sure how this stacks up to q3ctf1, but we'll have to see what people think after they've played it. Have a poll.

Bek you didn't close your link. I cut and pasted it and downloaded it. As soon as I can get my FTP working I will upload the map and put it into rotation. After all it is a Cobra Map made by a Cobra for the Cobra's to play on right!

Ok, Just played the map really open with long runs. It's uploaded and in rotation. Last map in rotation d7. Nice one Bek looks good.

WOW Bek just have to say that the map is great. I played a few matches on it this morning and I know I will be playing many more with our fellow cobras on the server :) I liked the textures a lot and the way the level is designed. As for CTF1? I think this map will be played more and more every day because your map offers more space to run, move around and rail jump and will still have plenty of space left if there is an access of players, whereas CTF1 starts to get jammed when there is around 4 players on each side. All in all just a "perfect" map, thanks for sharing you did a kick ass job!

P.S. Forgot to mention when I first joined to start the match, the bot told me to follow "pattie-fattie"..... LoL just thought I'd share that it was hilarious!

Ugh, just played on the map on cobra server, and found a missing texture :S It workes fine in SP, Looks like a iD software texture so everyone should have it, but it dosnt. Ima replace it and re upload it, so you'll have to download it again sorry :S

Ok, after fixing the missing texture, braking something else, pulling hair out and then fixing it bald, here it is, please tell me the skybox works :S
